A clean house!!

Synonymous with That! Mom is a clean home. Now first, let me say that there is a big difference between a dirty home, and a messy home. While I am not a fan of either, I would much rather have my home be clean and messy than dirty and neat. After doing some research and reading I am more determined than ever to keep a clean home. Here is an interesting tidbit for you: Did you know that 85 percent of our homes dirt comes in from our shoes? Think about what is in that dirt. Allergens, lead dust, bacteria, feces, chemicals… the list goes on. That’s especially scary for those of us with small children who spend a lot of their time on the floor and then stick their hands in their mouths. Especially carpeted areas where those things cling to. So let’s start by ALWAYS taking off our shoes or designating a pair of shoes for indoor use only that have never been and never will be worn outdoors. Buying a cheap pair of shoes from a Superstore is way less costly than the damaging effects dirty shoes can have. Slippers are great as well and there is really a variety of styles to choose from, and many are just like shoes.
